In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, one of Real Trabzon Sk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ferhat Uğuş went to the wrong direction when Toninho Lara was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Victor Santxol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferhat Uğuş. Real Trabzon Sk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Santxol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19thth minute of the game Victor Santxol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Trabzon Sk's Ferhat Uğuş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferhat Uğuş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Real Trabzon Sk defense, Victor Santxol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferhat Uğuş. The Real Trabzon Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferhat Uğuş should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Victor Santxol made a precise shot to the right of Ferhat Uğuş. Real Trabzon Sk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Victor Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferhat Uğuş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. After 36 minutes, Victor Santxol made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Real Trabzon Sk's Ferhat Uğuş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Surahammar's Victor Santxol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferhat Uğuş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keno Dibra in the 42nd minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Carl Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Santxol in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferhat Uğuş saved Real Trabzon Sk from getting behind. Surahammar's Markus Wallman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mats Hummels, made in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Surahammar were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Csaba Tisza was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Mats Hummels in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Surahammar's Mark Brovall. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Victor Santxol took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ferhat Uğuş to make any attempt to save it. Ferhat Uğuş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santxol in the 58th minute of the match. Surahammar made a substitution. André Pettersson replaced Victor Santxol. André Pettersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferhat Uğuş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Surahammar were awarded a corner. Virgil Van Dijk went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 71stth minute of the game André Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Trabzon Sk's Ferhat Uğuş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Petterssons short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ferhat Uğuş to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferhat Uğuş was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and André Pettersson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Pettersson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 82nd minute, André Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Surahammar's André Pettersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferhat Uğuş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game André Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Trabzon Sk's Ferhat Uğuş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, André Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Benett. When the match was over Surahammar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Trabzon Sk throughout the match.
