Efim Fedotov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şafak Şeref in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of STORM booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Kenan Atatuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Denis Lavrentev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Müfit Tolgahan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 minutes of play, STORM's Sergey Blynskih made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müfit Tolgahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Samsunspor defense, Vitaliy Grischenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Müfit Tolgahan. The Samsunspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Müfit Tolgahan should have stopped the shot. STORM's Rostislav Averchenko suffered a sore foot after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 39 minutes into the game, Tarkan Akçay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STORM the free kick. STORM's Mathis Plum was substituted for Rostislav Averchenko. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Tarkan Akçay got a free kick in the 39th minute. Recep Tayyip Değirmencioğlu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efim Fedotov. Efim Fedotov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. STORM made a substitution. Rudolf Veryugin replaced Raimundo Librado. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

STORM's Stepan Holodovskiy was substituted for Gleb Levkov. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Lavrentev to make the kick off. Müfit Tolgahan was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Stepan Holodovskiy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stepan Holodovskiy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 55 minutes into the game, STORM's Denis Lavrentev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Müfit Tolgahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Müfit Tolgahan was a little too slow when Vitaliy Grischenko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-8. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ergincan Ersoy hit a great ball. In the 67th play minute Anton Varlamov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Müfit Tolgahan. 1-9. Seyrani İklim kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sergey Blynskih took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Müfit Tolgahan. Samsunspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Lavrentev got free with Müfit Tolgahan in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mecnun Başer hit a great ball. Müfit Tolgahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Holodovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Samsunspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergey Blynskih was slow to take the kick. During this time STORM's players had a chance to rest. Denis Lavrentev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Müfit Tolgahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as STORM's Stepan Holodovskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Müfit Tolgahan. That made the score 1-10 after 82 minutes of play. Müfit Tolgahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Holodovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müfit Tolgahan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stepan Holodovskiy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-11 in the 87 minute of play. In the 90th minute, Rudolf Veryugin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samsunspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Denis Lavrentev scored to the left of an out of position Müfit Tolgahan, making the score, 1-13.
