In the 10th minute, Elano Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Josefsson came free, but Mathias Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Marcelo Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Younis Abo Al Hasan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Boca Juniors's Mathias Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Ekelund in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Geovânio da Silva hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Trillkott came free, but Mathias Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Alf Ekelund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boca Juniors's Mathias Sabóia. Mathias Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Ekelund in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zhuang Jian Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Sabóia was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Veiga. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Munio in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Segelbut IF U21 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alf Ekelund made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Ekelund came free, but Mathias Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alf Ekelund took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Mathias Sabóia to make any attempt to save it. After 62 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Marques. Segelbut IF U21 made a substitution. Alfons Öberg replaced Alf Ekelund. Ronaldo Marques hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Segelbut IF U21 booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Mathias Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Segelbut IF U21 booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Christoffer Josefsson from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Mathias Sabóia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Henry Trillkott made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zhuang Jian Yi however managed to control. Mathias Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhuang Jian Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Sabóia was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Marcelo Munio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Munio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 82 minutes of play, Segelbut IF U21's Alfons Öberg made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Frank França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Munio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mathias Sabóia was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Marcelo Munio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Munio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Marcelo Munio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Segelbut IF U21 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca Juniors throughout the match.
