The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Busk got free with Marcus Hagström in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Gösta Beckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rank 1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Griskultingarnas FF the free kick. With a little luck, Rank 1's Marcus Hagström got control of the ball when Jimmy Busk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rank 1 from getting a goal against them. Jimmy Busk struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marcus Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griskultingarnas FF. Fredric Åhman hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jochem Klooster might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jochem Klooster ran back to his position shaking his head. Conny Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Natasha Sjøholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Vesterberg made a kick off. Griskultingarnas FF's Natasha Sjøholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd of the match, Gösta Beckman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Natasha Sjøholm got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 55thth minute of the game Jochem Klooster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rank 1's Marcus Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimmy Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Griskultingarnas FF's Jimmy Busk got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Busk might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Busk ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Griskultingarnas FF's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Vesterberg came free, but Natasha Sjøholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Griskultingarnas FF's Jimmy Busk in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
