Timoteo Columbo took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Ciempa. Karol Ciempa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Karol Ciempa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Columbo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The throw-in from Edgar Panikowski in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Academia 1903's Aldo Maju. Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FlashField Bielsko-Biała's Piotr Klawke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Figueroa in the 13 minute of the game. When Timoteo Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Academia 1903 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Columbo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FlashField Bielsko-Biała booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Rincón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Ciempa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 28th minute of the match. The Academia 1903 fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Academia 1903's Primo Speranza got control of the ball when Remigiusz Lamczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Timoteo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Columbo to make the kick off. Karol Ciempa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FlashField Bielsko-Biała's goalkeeper Karol Ciempa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timoteo Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute Timoteo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Columbo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karol Ciempa having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, FlashField Bielsko-Biała's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Columbo came free, but Karol Ciempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Jakub Fedor replaced Jeremias Ezkerra. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. 66 minutes into the game, Academia 1903's Leon Matthäus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karol Ciempa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 68 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's Leon Matthäus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karol Ciempa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karol Ciempa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Matthäus in the 71st minute of the match. Lucien de Neutere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Karol Ciempa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FlashField Bielsko-Biała's Teobald Plaski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aldo Maju, made in the 76th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Cortez came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia 1903 were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after FlashField Bielsko-Biała's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gérard Magyar took the corner. Leon Matthäus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Karol Ciempa made a huge save. Karol Ciempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Matthäus, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Leon Matthäus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karol Ciempa. Leon Matthäus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4.
