The corner ended in Abel Demario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boquenses's Tobias Osoro did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Pancho in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boquenses's zone, Aaron Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Osoro came out of the goal and Aaron Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sancho in the 28th minute of play. If Abel Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregorio Hotz to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cristo Elia put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Osoro. Boquenses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Cutberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Espirillo FC's corner Gregorio Hotz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tobias Osoro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boquenses's Tobias Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Hotz in the 83rd minute of play. If Gregorio Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Espirillo FC's Gregorio Hotz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boquenses's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Ostargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boquenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espirillo FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Ostargi. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Espirillo FC had won after a very even match.
