Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Paulo Godoi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Paulo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Godoi couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 5th minute of the game was made by Jakub Niemoj with Luís Fernando de Alcântara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Godoi in the 9th minute of play forced Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Legion of Boom defense, Paulo Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. The Legion of Boom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Pombal should have stopped the shot. Paulo Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandinho Pombal having to make a save. Fernandinho Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 17 minutes Legion of Boom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hudson Sergipano who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ernani Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernandinho Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Velasco in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandinho Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29thth minute of the game Paulo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palestra do Interior's Celsinho Vidal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dráusio Tepedino, made in the 31st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Dráusio Tepedino got a free kick in the 36th minute. Paulo Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandinho Pombal having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Fernandinho Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Soeiro in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Reynaldo Sena hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Paulo Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If 吴洲坚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Legion of Boom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Paulo Godoi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fernandinho Pombal to make any attempt to save it. 55 minutes in the game Cauan Dracena did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luís Fernando de Alcântara. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Legion of Boom's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hudson Sergipano took the corner. Rony Teixeira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Palestra do Interior's Eugênio Alagoano was substituted for Moisés Matorin. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Niclas Danielsson replaced Hudson Sergipano. Niclas Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Fernandinho Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. In the 69th minute, Cauan Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Cauan Dracena got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Vitório Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. Legion of Boom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Lago in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Pombal saved Legion of Boom from getting behind. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernandinho Pombal. Vitório Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 92 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Fernandinho Pombal. In the 97th minute, Vitório Lago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernandinho Pombal. The goal made the score 0-8. Palestra do Interior played a much better game than Legion of Boom and deserved their victory. The Legion of Boom players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
