The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percival Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jaru-Uaru's Percival Pernambucano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Larkins Potter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute, Larkins Potter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larkins Potter in the 12th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jaru-Uaru booed when Wara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Boulebda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larkins Potter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lauro Cunha having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Lauro Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Larkins Potter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro Cunha. Jaru-Uaru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Larkins Potter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larkins Potter in the 19th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Jaru-Uaru got a freekick which was hit by Ian de Queirós. Cheb El-Hadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lauro Cunha. Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute Wara were awarded a corner. Cheb El-Hadi went to the cornerflag to take it. Karim Macias scored 0-5 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karim Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lauro Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Larkins Potter made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Jaru-Uaru's Lauro Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Larkins Potter sped through Jaru-Uaru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lauro Cunha. 47 minutes into the match, Larkins Potter notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Jaru-Uaru's Lauro Cunha. Lauro Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Wara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb El-Hadi to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Cunha came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Wara's Larkins Potter. But to his dismay, Larkins Potter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Larkins Potter took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Cunha. Lauro Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. 68 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Lauro Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larkins Potter struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Lauro Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wara. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hernani Moreira hit a great ball. Cheb El-Hadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Larkins Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Larkins Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Lauro Cunha made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Wara's Larkins Potter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. The supporters of Wara booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Boulebda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larkins Potter in the 95th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaru-Uaru's Evandro da Costa pulled a muscle in his back after 99 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Larkins Potter charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larkins Potter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaru-Uaru's Sérgio Pinheiro was substituted for Evandro da Costa. In the 101st minute, Larkins Potter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jaru-Uaru fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
