An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 5th minute of play forced Phenomena's goalkeeper Ernesto Molinaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ersan Ergüleç got free with Ernesto Molinaro in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Molinaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12th play minutes Válbson Pimenta shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ernesto Molinaro and just under the crossbar into goal. Ernesto Molinaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Phenomena's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Pimenta came free, but Ernesto Molinaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phenomena's Ernesto Molinaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Ergüleç in the 18th minute of play. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Molinaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Pimenta in the 30th minute of play. Válbson Pimenta took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Molinaro. Ernesto Molinaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 36th minute of the match, Válbson Pimenta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernesto Molinaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ernesto Molinaro had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Ersan Ergüleç from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ernesto Molinaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Ergüleç went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Greg Drysdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ernesto Molinaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Gaspard hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ernesto Molinaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Alex Perna fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phenomena's protests and gave Alex Perna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Phenomena getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alex Perna hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Molinaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a rather tough play, Phenomena's Valerio Folle got a free kick in the 67th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Fonseca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aldo Borrelli in the 73 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Molinaro. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Ademar de Mendonça replaced Armandinho Loyola. Ernesto Molinaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 87th minute of the match. Ernesto Molinaro came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
