Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Holzhauser in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when János Holzhauser came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Miklós Fehér had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almir Miranda. Mitnarotov FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miklós Fehér was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Mitnarotov FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Budapest were winning 0-3.

After some careless play in the Mitnarotov FC defense, Miklós Fehér kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almir Miranda. The Mitnarotov FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almir Miranda should have stopped the shot. FC Budapest's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Holzhauser in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Almir Miranda managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Mitnarotov FC's Almir Miranda got control of the ball when Miklós Fehér tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almir Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but János Holzhauser showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-7 when János Holzhauser sped through Mitnarotov FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Almir Miranda. János Holzhauser struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Almir Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Budapest. Ignác Selymes charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignác Selymes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th minute, János Holzhauser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almir Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. FC Budapest's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
