Peyote's Zenon Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emīls Umbrass in the 8th minute of play. Eugen Văleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Rocks got free with Zenon Dembkowski in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peyote's Feliciano Bizen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Florentino Novo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peyote's protests and gave Florentino Novo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zecku booed when Peyote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Novo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Rocks, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Emīls Umbrass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Rocks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zenon Dembkowski made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Văleanu in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Encuțescu saved Zecku from getting behind. Petre Encuțescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Bizen in the 42nd minute of the match. Zenon Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emīls Umbrass in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Peyote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Gregory to maneuver through the defense.

With an all-out effort, Peyote's Petre Encuțescu threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eugen Văleanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peyote's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
