Guntademaro Goyenechea started the match with the kick off. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Swift GTi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panda Feliz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Xie Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Tucknott. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Tucknott should have stopped the shot. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Renato Goycolea hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Nicasio Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Tucknott. General Velásquez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Chuan in the 25th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Chuan in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Raymond came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Gery Puttemas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swift GTi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gery Puttemas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Raymond in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Tucknott saved General Velásquez from getting behind. In the 49th minute of the match Swift GTi got a corner. General Velásquez's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gery Puttemas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Cardoso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gery Puttemas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swift GTi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gery Puttemas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Tucknott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

General Velásquez made a substitution. Teofan Bozadzhiyski replaced Marciano Gibson. After 65 played minutes Swift GTi got a freekick which was hit by Xie Chuan. The supporters of Swift GTi booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johny De Raeijmaecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Chuan in the 71st minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Swift GTi got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Maciel. Nicasio Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Raymond got free with Henry Tucknott in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 程浩卫 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 程浩卫 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 程浩卫 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Irigoyen's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi's Stefanos Karamanolis got a free kick in the 97th minute. Swift GTi's 程浩卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 100th minute of play. The General Velásquez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Swift GTi's performance. The match ended with a win for Swift GTi.
