In the 12th minute Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Cesar Cornelius went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rufus Roach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Rito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Brough in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Rito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Rito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Brough in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Rito saved Paulopolis from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Garth Brough in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cayetano Rito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 65 minutes, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garth Brough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Paulopolis defense, Garth Brough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. The Paulopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rito should have stopped the shot. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Australian Youth Academy's zone, Dieguinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keylor Navas came out of the goal and Dieguinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Falcão. After some careless play in the Paulopolis defense, Garth Brough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. The Paulopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rito should have stopped the shot. Cayetano Rito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Brough's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match Australian Youth Academy got a corner. Paulopolis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Cornelius ran over to the corner to take the kick. Australian Youth Academy's Cesar Cornelius was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Rito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Amaral came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 95th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Australian Youth Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paulopolis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
