Sven-Olof Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiente Venezian in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goalkeeper Orest Komissarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Hansson. After a defensive mix-up in Cercadinho's zone, Ted Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orest Komissarov came out of the goal and Ted Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orest Komissarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Hansson in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Börje Ekström. Alf Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orest Komissarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Hansson in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sundborn IF's Erland Kvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orest Komissarov. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Börje Ekström hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Alf Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Alf Hansson from a close distance when the talented Orest Komissarov managed to make a qualified save. Cercadinho's players were relieved. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Venezian, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Abelardo Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orest Komissarov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Håning showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Erland Kvists short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Orest Komissarov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute Erland Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orest Komissarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundborn IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Stephansson in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Alf Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Karl-Magnus Hansson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Orest Komissarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 60th minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Alf Hansson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orest Komissarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cercadinho's Mauro Prata was substituted for Acácio de Lima. Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Hansson in the 68th minute of play. Orest Komissarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alf Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orest Komissarov was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Alf Hansson put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orest Komissarov. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Ragnar Løth replaced Henning Bennet. Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev was substituted for Ted Holmgren. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Erland Kvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundborn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Kvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orest Komissarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Erland Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Cercadinho defense, Erland Kvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orest Komissarov. The Cercadinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orest Komissarov should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Nando Matorin took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Kalle Askberg to make any attempt to save it. If Kaloyan Mitashev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erland Kvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Orest Komissarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Kaloyan Mitashev notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov. Orest Komissarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Sundborn IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
