Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 8th minute of play. Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Road To Glory from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ariel Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto De Nardis in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Sanna was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Sicilia's zone, Gugu de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Sanna came out of the goal and Gugu de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu de Mendonça took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Sanna. Alvaro Sanna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Concetto Rucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ariel Venerando made a huge save. Gugu de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Alvaro Sanna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Road To Glory. In the 30th minute, Gugu de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Sanna. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Concetto Rucci could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Ariel Venerando however easily saved by the left post. Alvaro Sanna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 38th minute of play. Road To Glory's Leonardo Gaspard managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alberto Nazzaro in the 41 minute of the game. Alvaro Sanna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu de Mendonça went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Road To Glory were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Concetto De Nardis made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 53rd minute of play. Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Lampa in the 56th minute of play. If Concetto Rucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Sanna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Road To Glory's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gugu de Mendonça in the 60th minute. Asso Kraav hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto De Nardis got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Concetto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Cristos scored 1-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Venerando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ibo Cimillo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Alvaro Sanna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 82nd minute. When Gugu de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Road To Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gugu de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. In the 86thth minute of the game Gugu de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ariel Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ariel Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Road To Glory's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
