The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zigrīds Paupers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Craig to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Vents Ovdaks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lauro Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. BumboTava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Huguet in the 21st minute of play. Lauro Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zigrīds Paupers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Club Atletico Chusca got a corner. BumboTava's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herman Arvidsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Folke Överman hit a great ball. Xoan Huguet took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Eate. Serafin Eate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tabb Bornes in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play BumboTava's Kristiāns Dizenbergs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 36th match minute, BumboTava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristiāns Dizenbergs to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Herman Arvidsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BumboTava's Zigrīds Paupers did a great save. Xoan Huguet made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacinto Rodríguez. 47 minutes into the match, Vents Ovdaks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Eate. Club Atletico Chusca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vents Ovdaks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Zigrīds Paupers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. BumboTava's Rūdolfs Blaumanis got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to BumboTava getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Xoan Huguet hit a great ball. Elói Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BumboTava's Elói Siqueira got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 60th minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigrīds Paupers having to interfere. Vents Ovdaks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eate having to interfere. Lauro Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zigrīds Paupers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 78 minutes into the match, BumboTava's Vents Ovdaks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Alberto Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigrīds Paupers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Moreira in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zigrīds Paupers saved BumboTava from getting behind. BumboTava's Don Cuca was substituted for Tabb Bornes. In the 84th minute of the match Club Atletico Chusca got a corner. BumboTava's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richie Craig ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zigrīds Paupers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Don Cuca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, BumboTava's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Edorta came free, but Zigrīds Paupers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Lauro Moreira notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of BumboTava's Zigrīds Paupers. Zigrīds Paupers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the game, Lauro Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Zigrīds Paupers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 100 minutes, Lauro Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atletico Chusca fans cheered their team off the field, for while BumboTava had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
