In the 13th minute Roberto Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Fonda in the 14th minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Samuca Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Campeche FC defense, Mauricio Fonda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Soeiro. The Campeche FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Soeiro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Campeche FC's Umberto Coelho got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Víktor Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campeche FC's protests and gave Víktor Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Víktor Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs MdP booed when Campeche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Roberto Aureo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuca Soeiro. The goal made the score 0-12.
