Jaizki Lloredo's late challenge caught a Santo Amaro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincent Pawlik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firmin Mojon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Ma&Lu Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmin Mojon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Xuban Natos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ma&Lu Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Hermes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xuban Natos firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Batista hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ma&Lu Futbol Club's zone, Cipriano Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xuban Natos came out of the goal and Cipriano Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo Amaro AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ma&Lu Futbol Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Carlos Alberto Batista got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes Ma&Lu Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Bermudez. In the 77th minute, Luiz Fabiano de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xuban Natos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Ma&Lu Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santo Amaro AC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
