In the 5th minute, RamPa Football Club's Nicu Alexandrescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gunnar Lahe. Gunnar Lahe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gunnar Lahe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicu Alexandrescu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Alexandrescu came free, but Gunnar Lahe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Long Ke Yang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GaLaTaSaRaY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Nicu Alexandrescu scored to the left of an out of position Gunnar Lahe, making the score, 3-0. In the 22nd minute Nicu Alexandrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Lahe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicu Alexandrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Viana in the 27th minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Paul Ramon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The GaLaTaSaRaY fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when GaLaTaSaRaY's Eusébio Viana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th match minute, GaLaTaSaRaY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Bürgehan to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Nicu Alexandrescu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of GaLaTaSaRaY's Gunnar Lahe. Gunnar Lahe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Lahe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Alexandrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RamPa Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Long Ke Yang in the 36th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Lucca Payet advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 36th minute. Piotr Pryputnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GaLaTaSaRaY's goalkeeper Gunnar Lahe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nicu Alexandrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. RamPa Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Alexandrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Lahe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piotr Pryputnicki's late challenge caught a GaLaTaSaRaY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piotr Pryputnicki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GaLaTaSaRaY booed when RamPa Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Pryputnicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Alexandrescu in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Lahe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to GaLaTaSaRaY getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adnan Bürgehan hit a great ball. GaLaTaSaRaY's Gunnar Lahe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Alexandrescu in the 53rd minute of play. When Lucca Payet fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RamPa Football Club's protests and gave Lucca Payet a yellow card for diving instead. Lucca Payet hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Alexandrescu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Lahe saved GaLaTaSaRaY from getting behind. When RamPa Football Club's Nicu Alexandrescu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GaLaTaSaRaY's goalie prevented a goal. GaLaTaSaRaY's Arın Erendiz got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RamPa Football Club's Berker Karabey was substituted for Marino Pacheco. RamPa Football Club's Francesco Granata was substituted for Long Ke Yang. Gunnar Lahe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arın Erendiz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a little luck, RamPa Football Club's Paul Ramon got control of the ball when Korcan Sezginay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Arda Nurettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Gunnar Lahe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arda Nurettin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gunnar Lahe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Nurettin in the 78th minute of play. RamPa Football Club's Paul Ramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Viana in the 80th minute of play. GaLaTaSaRaY's Gunnar Lahe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Nurettin in the 89th minute of play. When Arda Nurettin came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the RamPa Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arda Nurettin couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes of play, RamPa Football Club's Arda Nurettin made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Lahe was left in no man's land by his defense there!
