Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Saens, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jerónimo Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Balonek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jerónimo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Balonek was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. União Sport Clube Paredes were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Goianésia E.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dabi Saens took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerónimo Furtado in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Balonek saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. Jerónimo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jerónimo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jerónimo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Balonek was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jerónimo Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Balonek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Alexandre Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Alexandre Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Sport Clube Paredes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Faiko to strike the kick off in the second half. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerónimo Furtado took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerónimo Furtado in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Balonek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Attila Kertész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Norbert Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerónimo Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Balonek having to make a save. Dabi Saens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Balonek having to interfere. Jerónimo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Jerónimo Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Sport Clube Paredes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Barbosa in the 86th minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The União Sport Clube Paredes fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 90th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jerónimo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Balonek was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Goianésia E.C's zone, Alexandre Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Balonek came out of the goal and Alexandre Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes União Sport Clube Paredes got a freekick which was hit by Lambe Kü. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. União Sport Clube Paredes had played much better football throughout.
