But to his dismay, Osvaldo da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Penha made a kick off. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Karlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fred Penha's late challenge caught a América Magics Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Penha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Goianésia E.C's Fred Penha got a free kick in the 54th minute.
