Claudinho Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrián-Daniel Dobre got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Carlos Mei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Taffarel was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihăiţă Stolniceanu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Taffarel. Claudinho Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 83 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Stolniceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Taffarel. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihăiţă Stolniceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Costin Cârneci's late challenge caught a Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Cârneci helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Costin Cârneci got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Costin Cârneci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fully deserved thier win.
