He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Valea Lotrului reached it. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Martinaș in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ionică Martinaș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siim Kikas was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Mugur Phoenix hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. FC Valea Lotrului's kaya Akkanoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Valea Lotrului from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Manuel Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. kaya Akkanoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. kaya Akkanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudius Marsching, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 40th minute Ionică Martinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Valea Lotrului's kaya Akkanoğlu got control of the ball when Manuel Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Valea Lotrului's Alexandru Purcărete got a free kick in the 46th minute. Anselm Neuhäuser, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Marius Ficsinescu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Siim Kikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Valea Lotrului. The audience was convinced that Ionică Martinaș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siim Kikas was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. FC Valea Lotrului's Virgil Constantin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Boris Rülke in the 63 minute of the game. FC Valea Lotrului's kaya Akkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Heremans in the 68th minute of play. kaya Akkanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Backes in the 70th minute of the match. kaya Akkanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siim Kikas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marius Ficsinescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. FC Valea Lotrului's kaya Akkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Heremans in the 78th minute of play. Siim Kikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Stamatiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Valea Lotrului defense, Evert Heremans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of kaya Akkanoğlu. The FC Valea Lotrului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that kaya Akkanoğlu should have stopped the shot. FC Valea Lotrului's kaya Akkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Backes in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when FC Valea Lotrului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Zăreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, De Gulden Draak's Anselm Neuhäuser shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper kaya Akkanoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. De Gulden Draak were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Valea Lotrului to leave the ground with a draw.
