In the 21st minute, Sorges's Pierre-Olivier Truc seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pierre-Olivier Truc the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sorges protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pierre-Olivier Truc had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Sorges:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Adana FC:s goal. The referee gave Adana FC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Uolevi Hagman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sorges's Adrien Boche. 0-3. Steinar Flo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sorges defense, Steinar Flo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrien Boche. The Sorges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrien Boche should have stopped the shot. Adrien Boche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steinar Flo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Adana FC's attentive Ramiro Solustiano managed to snatch the ball when Enzo Vandenbroucke made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Steinar Flo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sorges's Adrien Boche. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Adrien Boche as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jan Drlík might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrien Boche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Adana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14.
