The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remus Pinches during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Remus Pinches hit a great ball. Rafael Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enric Blanch, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, PROTON F.C.'s Aníbal Veliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Taka Levidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Ortega in the 19th minute of the match. Rafael Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Veliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Gilesindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Veliz went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enric Blanch in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Enric Blanch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Marco Mistral sped through Locura Académica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Gilesindo. Taka Levidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nyangnyang Rungkat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PROTON F.C.'s Bautista Cross got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ortega came free, but Taka Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Joar Danielsson hit a great ball. Rafael Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enric Blanch in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Mistral to make the kick off. Celedonio Urrutia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PROTON F.C.'s Adelio Masoli got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ortega came free, but Taka Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Gaudencio Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Urbano Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taka Levidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joar Danielsson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joar Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes PROTON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luis Alberto Dagnino. PROTON F.C.'s Taka Levidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Hartz in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Hartz in the 82nd minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Taka Levidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Hartz came free, but Taka Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes of play Locura Académica's Remus Pinches was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of PROTON F.C. booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Pinches didn't get a good kick on the ball. PROTON F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Locura Académica's much stronger midfield.
