In the 3rd minute Viktor Damm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Give Peace a Chance were awarded a corner. Jorge Kruczkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Grigore Bădilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Arapașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Kamper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Kamper in the 15th minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Give Peace a Chance got a corner. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Kruczkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute, Lex Punke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdul Behnisch made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Grigore Bădilescu sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludwig Kamper in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Arapașu saved ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Banica came free, but Abdul Behnisch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Give Peace a Chance's Mattias Hilger made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petruț Arapașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Abdul Behnisch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Hârtopanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes in the game, Norbert Focke fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Petruț Arapașu having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Mattias Hilger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petruț Arapașu. Mattias Hilger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Give Peace a Chance's Abdul Behnisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Hârtopanu in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Mattias Hilger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Give Peace a Chance were awarded a corner. Jorge Kruczkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lex Punke got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petruț Arapașu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67th minute Mattias Hilger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Give Peace a Chance's Petruț Arapașu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mattias Hilger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Kruczkowski who took care of the corner kick. 73 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Kamper. Silvester Schwede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Petruț Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Banica. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Banica came free, but Abdul Behnisch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Hilger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Give Peace a Chance's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
