Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Gregorio Montez made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Russówek's Gregorio Montez in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Gregorio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gregorio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Kieca made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kerry Sellers sent off a good shot on target. Farid Mondragón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Montez went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Russówek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Snowden took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sidney Forbes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Kieca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes in the game Qiu Fan Ran did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kerry Sellers. Gregorio Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Mondragón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Russówek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Traczewski in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Edward Traczewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón did a great save. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Chadwick in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidney Forbes to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farid Mondragón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farid Mondragón having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Sid Chadwick came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Gregorio Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Mondragón came out of the goal and Gregorio Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Sellers in the 67th minute of play. Farid Mondragón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Gdowski's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 68th play minutes Jakub Gdowski shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Farid Mondragón and just under the crossbar into goal. Jakub Gdowski took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Daniel Kieca came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers. But to his dismay, Kerry Sellers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Russówek made a substitution. Ryszard Skonieczny replaced Salvador Quezada. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Prusinowski in the 83rd minute of play. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Zabrzeski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-4 became the score in the 92nd minute when Jakub Gdowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Russówek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
