Sungur Paşa took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Abel. Bastian Abel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to ATAKUM FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Güner Özguven hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzalp Namal in the 37th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Güner Özguven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATAKUM FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. FC Eisenberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Güner Özguven scored to the left of an out of position Bastian Abel, making the score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirko Saßmannshausen to make the kick off.
