A hard shot 6 in the game by Pietro Pellegri from a close distance when the talented Fonso Zotillo managed to make a qualified save. XV de Piracicaba's players were relieved. Pietro Pellegris short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Fonso Zotillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Pellegri in the 17th minute of play. Fonso Zotillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Pellegri's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Norbert Kiss got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Artemio Quiroga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Fonso Zotillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artemio Quiroga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fonso Zotillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. After having played for 33 minutes, Pietro Pellegri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ANC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Pellegri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was a well-played corner which Lauro Souto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40thth minute of the game Pietro Pellegri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when FC ANC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pietro Pellegri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, FC ANC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pietro Pellegri to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pietro Pellegri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Pellegri in the 51st minute of play. FC ANC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yanne Van Eyken in the 53rd minute. Manole Bordeanu took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pietro Pellegri managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ANC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pietro Pellegri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fonso Zotillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, FC ANC's goalkeeper Martin Tudor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Montoia. 65 minutes into the match, Pietro Pellegri notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pietro Pellegri in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fonso Zotillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Petricca in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, FC ANC's Dino Petricca made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fonso Zotillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Pellegri in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fonso Zotillo saved XV de Piracicaba from getting behind. Pietro Pellegri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Petricca in the 83rd minute of play. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Montoia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Artemio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
