Frans Alström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ke Zheng Feng might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ke Zheng Feng ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, NEGRITUDE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Blom came free, but Diamantino Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sunkens Surtröjor made a substitution. Gylippus Panayiotopoulos replaced Evelio Loi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The Sunkens Surtröjor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Diamantino Nunes was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Frans Alström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frans Alström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind NEGRITUDE FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Victor Blom notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of NEGRITUDE FC's Diamantino Nunes. Diamantino Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sunkens Surtröjor's Anton Galle was substituted for Victor Blom. In a very dangerous position, a player in NEGRITUDE FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sunkens Surtröjor a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. NEGRITUDE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Anton Galle scored to the left of an out of position Diamantino Nunes, making the score, 0-7. If Frans Alström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sunkens Surtröjor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sunkens Surtröjor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
