Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John-Arne Riise took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Per Nørbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hønning's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Nørbjerg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tavo Potisepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Nørbjerg in the 8th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Per Nørbjerg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tavo Potisepp. After a defensive mix-up in Kogimyae JK's zone, Per Nørbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tavo Potisepp came out of the goal and Per Nørbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olavi Lainevoog came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dirch Glerum could save by the left post. Andris Nõmmeots could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dirch Glerum made a huge save. After 25 minutes of play, Hønning's John-Arne Riise made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tavo Potisepp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Kogimyae JK booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Nørbjerg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalju Onkel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tavo Potisepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Arne Riise in the 31st minute of play. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, John-Arne Riise made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tavo Potisepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Arne Riise in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 42nd minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hønning booed when Kogimyae JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalju Onkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, John-Arne Riise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hønning fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Tavo Potisepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Per Nørbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 57 minutes, Kalju Onkel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the Hønning players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dirch Glerum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tavo Potisepp came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hønning's Per Nørbjerg. But to his dismay, Per Nørbjerg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. John-Arne Riise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavo Potisepp having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Per Nørbjerg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tavo Potisepp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The attack was good, but when John-Arne Riise in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match was over Hønning could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kogimyae JK throughout the match.
