The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Virtual Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Toscano came free, but Joseph Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillen Aguillar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Petersson in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denver Light got free with Guillen Aguillar in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Best in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillen Aguillar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Löhr in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Danielsson saved Virtual Aces from getting behind. In the 27th minute Marco Löhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Toscano in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Virtual Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Löhr came free, but Joseph Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar got control of the ball when Denver Light tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Virtual Aces's Denver Light sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillen Aguillar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Chiquinho Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Toscano in the 43rd minute of play forced Virtual Aces's goalkeeper Joseph Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Best to make the kick off. Virtual Aces's Joseph Danielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Virtual Aces from getting a goal against them. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game John Smed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øystein Rullhøj in the 93rd minute of play. Guillen Aguillar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Best in the 94th minute of the match. When Victor Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virtual Aces's protests and gave Victor Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Victor Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético Guidovalense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
