Romando Futebol Clube's Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Micallef in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Romando Futebol Clube defense, Neil Micallef kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas. The Romando Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Swatar United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekai Atay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Chiratorn Wongsanam threw the ball into play from the sideline. Romando Futebol Clube's Ubaldo Maillard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mario Salerno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patryk Siekierski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valdomiro de Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patryk Siekierski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdomiro de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Salerno, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mario Salerno struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swatar United FC. In the 47th match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Maillard to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Swatar United FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Valdomiro de Godoi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Swatar United FC booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mario Salerno came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Swatar United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Salerno couldn't finish the play. If Lino Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido was substituted for Valdomiro de Godoi. Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Bellido in the 59th minute of play. Patryk Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Bellido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Chiratorn Wongsanam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swatar United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romando Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 65th minute, Chiratorn Wongsanam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niva Bellido might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Siekierski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niva Bellido ran back to his position shaking his head. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Bellido, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Swatar United FC's zone, Niva Bellido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Siekierski came out of the goal and Niva Bellido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Niva Bellido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niva Bellido took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patryk Siekierski. Patryk Siekierski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Swatar United FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mario Salerno hit a great ball. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Micallef in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Niva Bellido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Patryk Siekierski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romando Futebol Clube's Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Romando Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Neil Micallef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Swatar United FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Romando Futebol Clube.
