Songurhan Mete started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Anselius in the 7th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Sporting Westmeerbeek got a corner. OROTINENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bastiaan Nys ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bastiaan Nys made a great header on Sporting Westmeerbeek's corner, it was just that OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong managed to reach the ball for a save. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Aguilar in the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Songurhan Mete got free with Matias Dimo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 19th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Lucas Portai got a free kick in the 28th minute. OROTINENSE's David Talamanca got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bastiaan Nys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liu Yong Yong having to make a save. Jacek Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Aguilar was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Songurhan Mete sped through Sporting Westmeerbeek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matias Dimo. After 54 minutes of play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Dean Rutgeerts made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liu Yong Yong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dean Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alfonso Rulli hit a great ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Walczak in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Aguilar came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jonas Anselius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Westmeerbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Anselius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Yong Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. OROTINENSE's Nuno Orihuela was substituted for Jesus Cortez. OROTINENSE's Minor Talamanca was substituted for Juraj Múdry. Sporting Westmeerbeek made a substitution. Pieter Degraef replaced Jonas Anselius. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Reinaldo Medina got a free kick in the 77th minute. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Talamanca came free, but Matias Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Rutgeerts charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Rutgeerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Dean Rutgeerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Walczak in the 88th minute of the match. Pieter Degraef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Talamanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Roque Aguilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liu Yong Yong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The OROTINENSE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Westmeerbeek's performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Westmeerbeek.
