In the 6th minute Cirilo Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Santirso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silverio Sanson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Traian Nichitelea kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Steve Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sotelo AFC's Cirilo Bembe got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wang Kuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Sanson having to interfere. Silverio Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Kuan in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes Santa Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wang Kuan who took care of the corner kick. After 31 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Lalli. Diego Armando Santirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Silverio Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Etxahun. When Juan Fernando Pratto came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Fernando Pratto couldn't finish the play. Sotelo AFC made a substitution. Edgardo Danel replaced Diego Armando Santirso. Robustiano Gelmiro had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Romulo Lalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Silverio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Bembe in the 44th minute of play. Silverio Sanson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Hurko went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Santa Fe made a substitution. Mauricio Montes replaced Santi Ogazón. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wang Kuan made the kick off in the second half. Wang Kuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wang Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wang Kuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Sanson having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Wang Kuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Sanson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Santa Fe made a substitution. Eliott Pépin replaced Rolando Madaleno. 69 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Kuan came free, but Silverio Sanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes Santa Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wang Kuan who took care of the corner kick. In the 76th minute, Juan Fernando Pratto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robustiano Gelmiro. The goal made the score 3-1. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sotelo AFC from getting a goal against them. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliott Pépin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wang Kuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Sanson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jimeno Hurko struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Silverio Sanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sotelo AFC. Silverio Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Silverio Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Bembe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes Santa Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wang Kuan who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Roque Roso could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Robustiano Gelmiro however easily saved by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Roso. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Fe's zone, Wang Kuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Sanson came out of the goal and Wang Kuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santa Fe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
