The Gonzez's Holer Nolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Pasachai Jitjai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gonzez were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Fielzão's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Carlsson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Robert Carlsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Eduardo Aparecido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bruninho Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holer Nolan having to interfere. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasachai Jitjai, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Arvid Treiner came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Fielzão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Treiner couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Fielzão were awarded a corner. Arvid Treiner went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Arvid Treiner at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of The Gonzez. 0-3. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 64th minute of play. Holer Nolan made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Arvid Treiner sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tuna Bulut hit a great ball. Holer Nolan was a little too slow when Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Treiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Douglas Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
