Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Castilho in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabahattin Erten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as United's Modesto Peirano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Ávila. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Sabahattin Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Castilho in the 25th minute of play forced United's goalkeeper Sabahattin Erten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Castilho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabahattin Erten having to interfere. Coelho FC's Hipólito Pimentel suffered a concussion in the 33rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Hernan Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored United's protests and gave Hernan Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Hernan Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, United's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Raebert came free, but Sabahattin Erten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Coelho FC's Bianco Carota made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabahattin Erten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Bela hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Castilho struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sabahattin Erten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelho FC. Jacinto Ávila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Peirano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. United's Rolando Bela got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Cerilo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. Sabahattin Erten went to the wrong direction when Almiro Guimarães was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. United's Zlatan Gigant suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Almiro Guimarães's late challenge caught a United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almiro Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute Rodrigo Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Herminio Raebert could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Sabahattin Erten however easily saved by the left post. After 98 minutes United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kevin Perandis who took care of the corner kick. Coelho FC's Rodrigo Castilho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabahattin Erten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
