The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Abreu scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zabal Bucaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zabal Bucaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmed Paşa in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Astor Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Bucaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Caviedes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Zabal Bucaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Eguntsenti in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Larra in the 14th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zabal Bucaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Tancredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by RAMBO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gogo Tancredo was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Línea Rotativa's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of RAMBO FC's goalie and right to Vladimiro Udalaitz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. RAMBO FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 24 minutes of play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zabal Bucaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Astor Eguntsenti put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Zabal Bucaran. Astor Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Eguntsenti came free, but Zabal Bucaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Astor Eguntsenti made a precise shot to the right of Zabal Bucaran. RAMBO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 37 minutes, Astor Eguntsenti made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Astor Eguntsenti might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zabal Bucaran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Eguntsenti ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Eguntsenti in the 41st minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Astor Eguntsenti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Bucaran was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Astor Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Bucaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half C.A. Línea Rotativa were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Bordonoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Astor Eguntsenti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ildephonso Masses kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Zabal Bucaran was a little too slow when Astor Eguntsenti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Eguntsenti in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zabal Bucaran saved RAMBO FC from getting behind. Zabal Bucaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmed Paşa in the 68th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Astor Eguntsenti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Astor Eguntsenti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zabal Bucaran. RAMBO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Eguntsenti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 78 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zabal Bucaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A. Línea Rotativa were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after RAMBO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gogo Tancredo took the corner. After taking down the ball on C.A. Línea Rotativa's corner Vladimiro Udalaitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zabal Bucaran quite easily take care of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Rolando Pasqual dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zabal Bucaran, 0-8. Zabal Bucaran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Pasqual showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 85 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mehmed Paşa managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Línea Rotativa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmed Paşa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabal Bucaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran got control of the ball when Rolando Pasqual tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Caviedes to maneuver through the defense. Zabal Bucaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Asım Kornes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The RAMBO FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Línea Rotativa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
