Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de América from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Fred in the 11th minute of the match. Ambrosio Estevez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Estevez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ambrosio Estevez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cornelio Ruisko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Concetto Trasatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Mambru having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Mambru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti. But to his dismay, Concetto Trasatti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Paez to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by MORPH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 32 minutes, Concetto Trasatti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Trasatti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Simon Gustafson got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ruisko came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 37th minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's attentive Maximo Dei managed to snatch the ball when Anastasio Lluques made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. 45 minutes into the game, Concetto Trasatti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Melquiades Mambru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Mambru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The MORPH players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estudiantes de América were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Concetto Trasatti was the one to do the kick off. Kert Roolaid kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Concetto Trasatti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Mambru. MORPH's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Concetto Trasatti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 62nd minute Carel Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Carel Rokeloos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MORPH's Delmar Udalaitz was substituted for Feliciano Telo. MORPH's Paulo Eguen was substituted for Carel Rokeloos. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Traian Blăniță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Simon Gustafson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Ranolfo. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Gustafson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. With 76 minutes on the clock, Lilo Ramírez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of MORPH:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estudiantes de América:s goal. MORPH:s Melquiades Mambru showed great skill when he stopped Maximo Dei:s penalty. After some careless play in the MORPH defense, Maximo Dei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Mambru. The MORPH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Mambru should have stopped the shot. Melquiades Mambru stood somewhat misplaced when Concetto Trasatti came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Gustafson in the 89th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Mambru. Melquiades Mambru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. When the match was over Estudiantes de América could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MORPH throughout the match.
