The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valer Uduleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Nightingale having to interfere. Ged Nightingale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Boldur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Cornel Panaitescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Piechna. Dino Zoff made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Grzegorz Piechna sent off a good shot on target. Wen Jie Ting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. In the 19th minute Guy Hogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Sălcudeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Grzegorz Piechna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Zoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 32 minutes, Apolo Foro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cormoranii -MM- and the Arrows Academy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Grzegorz Piechna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Zoff should have stopped the shot. Valer Uduleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grzegorz Piechna was the one to do the kick off. When Arrows Academy FC's Bryan Barron in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dino Zoff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Grzegorz Piechna sped through Cormoranii -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Uduleanu. 84 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Piechna came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesús Solano hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Arrows Academy FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
