Arkadiusz Barniszke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Furgat went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Arkadiusz Barniszke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Ioniță in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Rapid Bucharest's Gelu Ioniță ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arkadiusz Barniszke. Arkadiusz Barniszke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Klement Gonsiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beržas Lideika having to interfere. If Szymon Bugajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute of the match FC Barcelona got a corner. Rapid Bucharest's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanek Zielinski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Szymon Bugajski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil Ţirpe got free with Arkadiusz Barniszke in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boguslaw Furgat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Arkadiusz Barniszke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Plachetka to maneuver through the defense. When Boguslaw Furgat came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rapid Bucharest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Furgat couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, 马广竞 took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Arkadiusz Barniszke to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Arkadiusz Barniszke came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Bucharest's Boguslaw Furgat. But to his dismay, Boguslaw Furgat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Rapid Bucharest's 马广竞 got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arkadiusz Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Gelu Ioniță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Arkadiusz Barniszke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boguslaw Furgat scored 9-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rapid Bucharest were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Barcelona for a fine match.
