The audience was convinced that Tord Söderqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Libertad was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Tord Söderqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Libertad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Söderqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Iguazú fútbol club's goalkeeper Teobaldo Libertad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. Tord Söderqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Libertad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Tord Söderqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Ferrari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tord Söderqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Tord Söderqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Ferrari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tord Söderqvist took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Teobaldo Libertad to make any attempt to save it. Teobaldo Libertad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tord Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Siqueira came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Tord Söderqvist made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Libertad. Iguazú fútbol club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Siqueira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Iguazú fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Teobaldo Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Teobaldo Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Ferrari. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modesto Bixintxo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tord Söderqvist came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Söderqvist couldn't finish the play. When S.C. But to his dismay, Tord Söderqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás was substituted for Tord Söderqvist. S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Duarte was substituted for Patrick Angelsø. S.C. Ferrari's attentive Váldson Arruda managed to snatch the ball when Feliciano Bastia made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Iguazú fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Teobaldo Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Coronel Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Iguazú fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Teobaldo Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Libertad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gergely Bollobás managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Ferrari's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Bollobás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Libertad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Libertad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Gergely Bollobás ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teobaldo Libertad was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. S.C. Ferrari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
