An unexpectedly hard shot by He Xu in the 88th minute of play forced V.V.V - Venlo's goalkeeper Austmar Janusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austmar Janusson came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Murçia FC's Gilberto Carretero. But to his dismay, Gilberto Carretero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Austmar Janusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Billock in the 96th minute of play.
