The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Felizberto EC's Dalmo Netto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Linares. Erasmo Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense. Acácio Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Per Löfkvist notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Erasmo Linares. Erasmo Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Barbosa in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Linares saved Real Camaçari Futbol Club from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Ulisses Barbosa made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Erasmo Linares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Real Camaçari Futbol Club booed when Felizberto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Acácio Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Sampaio was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Marcus Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Felizberto EC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Valadares. Fabinho Valadares came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erasmo Linares could save by the left post. After 32 minutes Real Camaçari Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geraldo Prestes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Geraldo Prestes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erasmo Linares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Real Camaçari Futbol Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Martin Joanes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Furtado in the 38th minute of play forced Real Camaçari Futbol Club's goalkeeper Erasmo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jeferson Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felizberto EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Real Camaçari Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Medeiros. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Felizberto EC's Jeferson Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Acácio Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Acácio Medeiros got a free kick in the 55th minute. Erasmo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Barbosa in the 64th minute of play. Marcus Sampaio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cido Ribeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 65 minute of play. Marcus Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Medeiros in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Marcus Sampaio threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cido Ribeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ubiergo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Camaçari Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Felizberto EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Rodrigo Ubiergo got a free kick in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Acácio Medeiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcus Sampaio. That made the score 4-2 in the 73 minute of play. In the 79th minute Ulisses Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Medeiros in the 81st minute. Erasmo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Furtado in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Felizberto EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Acácio Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marcus Sampaio made a huge save. A collision led to Real Camaçari Futbol Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aírton Proença hit a great ball. Felizberto EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
