Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 4th minute of play. Lanny Gilmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Fredriksson having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Eric Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lanny Gilmore in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Fredriksson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute, Lanny Gilmore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Fredriksson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Lanny Gilmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Fredriksson having to make a save. Eric Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 23rd minute of the match. Lanny Gilmore might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Sjöberg got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sigvard Brask. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Balders Hage IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santos FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eric Fredriksson. Lanny Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Fredriksson having to interfere. 37 minutes in the game Simon Sjöberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ove Lundgren. 42 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigvard Brask stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Richardson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Balders Hage IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Warren Ruiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Santos FC's corner Warren Ruiz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eric Fredriksson quite easily take care of the ball. Eric Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Richardson in the 54th minute of play. Simon Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Lanny Gilmore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 57th minute of play forced Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Fredriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lanny Gilmore came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lanny Gilmore couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Balders Hage IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Volberg to maneuver through the defense. Simon Sjöberg made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radowit Zerde however managed to control. In the 70th minute Sigvard Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Tyron Velasquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 78 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Brask came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Fredriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lanny Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 83rd play minutes Lanny Gilmore shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Eric Fredriksson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88th minute Tyron Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Santos FC were awarded a corner. Warren Ruiz went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Balders Hage IF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sigvard Brask hit a great ball. Lanny Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Fredriksson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santos FC had won after a very even match.
