Higinio Porfiro was a little too slow when Gilberto Fremont got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alvin Arthur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Borja in the 19th minute of play. Higinio Porfiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augustin Magee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Qiao Qi Bo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Fremont got free with Higinio Porfiro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Higinio Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Fremont in the 31st minute. Gilberto Fremont in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Osvaldo Linhares replaced Carlos Alberto Pernambucano. In the 79th match minute, Fenerbahçe S.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Fremont to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Berti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvin Arthur. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the LA MAQUINA F.C defense, Qiao Qi Bo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Porfiro. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Porfiro should have stopped the shot. Higinio Porfiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fenerbahçe S.K. fully deserved thier win.
