Enzo Gallardo made in the 2nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Armando Larrieta immediately put the ball in play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Balázs Sebes might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Sebes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balázs Sebes's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Club Puerto Quito's Ayoví Costoya couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hoberg United. Caetano Levandowsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Mauricio Precioso made a huge save. Hoberg United were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Club Puerto Quito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Danny Grønnow took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hoberg United's corner Mario Rui fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauricio Precioso quite easily take care of the ball. Balázs Sebes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Precioso having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Balázs Sebes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Enzo Gallardo with Armando Larrieta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Balázs Sebes might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Sebes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Sebes in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Balázs Sebes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon Costa in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Huemen to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Club Puerto Quito defense, Claudio-Paul Pirinchev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Precioso. The Club Puerto Quito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Precioso should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Ayoví Costoya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Puerto Quito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The wind increased when Balázs Sebes made the kick off in the second half. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enzo Gallardo in the 57 minute of the game. Rufino Giron scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Hoberg United fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dida Martins made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Armando Larrieta sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Levandowsky came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enzo Gallardo, made in the 71st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Enzo Gallardo in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hoberg United's Jaroslaw Teofila. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Enzo Gallardo with Rufino Giron as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 79 minutes into the game, Balázs Sebes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Mauricio Precioso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Sebes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Precioso saved Club Puerto Quito from getting behind. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Enzo Gallardo hit a great ball. Mauricio Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Sebes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Levandowsky during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Levandowsky. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Sebes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rufino Giron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dida Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Levandowsky hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Hoberg United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Puerto Quito for a fine match.
