The audience was convinced that Sérgio Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Precioso was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Diego Narbona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Monteiro in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Precioso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sérgio Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Precioso made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Sérgio Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. Kryspin Cwynar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufino Giron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sosnowe Klimaty booed when Club Puerto Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Larrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Sosnowe Klimaty's corner Sérgio Monteiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauricio Precioso quite easily take care of the ball. Sérgio Monteiro in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauricio Precioso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Szpakowski in the 81st minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Sosnowe Klimaty were awarded a corner. Sérgio Monteiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Sérgio Monteiro made a great header on Sosnowe Klimaty's corner, it was just that Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso managed to reach the ball for a save. Sérgio Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sosnowe Klimaty getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Teobald Szpakowski hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Rufino Giron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when Sosnowe Klimaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Matela didn't get a good kick on the ball.
