Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Saul Silvanito made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute of the match Metal Juniors got a corner. Municipales FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan Dantae ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marco Ireno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Municipales FC's Edgardo Joseph did a great save. In the 11th minute Martín Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martín Palermo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Joseph prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saul Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgardo Joseph. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Edgardo Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Palermo in the 27th minute of the match. Edgardo Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Palermo in the 31st minute of play. Marcin Puch hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Daniel Păvăloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Yörük in the 34th minute of play. Leopoldo Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Edgardo Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Daniel Păvăloae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İskender Yörük, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The throw-in from Filippo Maldini in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Metal Juniors's Marco Ireno. 63 minutes into the game, Martín Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edgardo Joseph was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Metal Juniors getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gervasio Favila hit a great ball. Municipales FC's Bernard Juroszek was substituted for Ger Saber. Metal Juniors's Gaspar Gerazan was substituted for Yani Abalos. After 68 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Favila. Marcin Puch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Păvăloae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Joannes in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Păvăloae saved Metal Juniors from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Joannes got free with Daniel Păvăloae in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Sidney Joannes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Păvăloae. Metal Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Joannes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Sergio Dennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edgardo Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Dennis. For all the effort they put into the match, the Municipales FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Metal Juniors.
