Bart-Jan Ablij hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Henri-Patrick De Mare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Snider in the 15th minute of the match. When Vc Brye's Cristian Vieri in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vc Brye's Comunardo Cianci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesar Donio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Ciemiega came free, but Cesar Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabríel Vassaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes San Antonio HotSPURS got a freekick which was hit by Max Paquette. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fox 鲁迅 in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Donio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Gabríel Vassaras made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Donio. San Antonio HotSPURS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Vc Brye were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabríel Vassaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
